The
FIFTH Avenue beach is on the right side of
Convention Hall. Good beach in that it is next to
the exterior bar of Convention Hall and there is
often music from the balcony or, at times, a stage on
the beach or boardwalk with live music. There
is also a jetty in front of convention hall which
acts as a another break easing the wave action.
There are also public
bathrooms located along this side of Convention
Hall.
There
are new shops along the boardwalk,
events
on the weekends and
plenty of sand and water to enjoy. While there are
no rides, it's still a great beach with great
people.
In
addition to the mile-long stretch of sand, Asbury
Park's downtown is filled with new restaurants
and shops.
The beaches in Asbury Park are referenced by the
street names that run into them.
Visit the new South Beach... the First and
Second Ave Beaches....
