Seventh
and Eighth avenue beaches are at the north end of
the boardwalk and the city boundary to Loch Arbor.
Therefore, we have
North
Beach condos and are available for sale
or rent
Some notes about the North End. The new condos that
went up are known as North Beach. There are
temporary restrooms on this end. The tall building
is a senior citizen center. The lake is known as
Deal Lake. Good spot to catch white perch, sunnies
and a few other species. The lake feeds out
into the ocean between Loch Arbour and Asbury Park.
Good fishing grounds off the jetty at 8th ave.
To
the north is Loch Arbor is a private beach and club.
There are plans to one day build a beach club at
this end of the boardwalk and additional housing.
SURFING:
is typically permitted at the 8th Avenue section of
beach. Check with the lifeguards.
ATTENTION DOG
LOVERS: After 6pm and BEFORE 9am you are allowed
to bring your dog(s) to the 8th Ave beach and let
them play. PLEASE pick up after your dog and if your
dog is not friendly or not yet use to other dogs, do
not let them loose. THIS IS
