Long Branch, New Jersey about 5
miles North of Asbury Park. The "new" Long Branch
Boardwalk is centered around the Ocean Place Resort, new condo units
and a mixed-use area known as Pier Village. Very crowded in the summer
evenings, Pier Village contains a number of small shops and and nine restaurants
- Stewart's, Michael Angelo's Pizza, Turning Point, Rocky Mountain
Chocolate, It's Greek to Me, Sawa (Japanese), Pier House, Avenue with
Le Club (packed), and Serena (Italian). Asbury
is coming back as the "Jewell of the Jersey Shore" while
Long Branch is marketed as "the fashionable"
resort. Lot's of hot cars on the boardwalk in the evenings in
front of Avenue. Pier Village also offers
a number of year-round rental units. Rents are approximately, subject
