Point Pleasant, New Jersey is about

miles south of Asbury Park. |

In addition to the many
arcades and favorite boardwalk shops on the Point Pleasant Boardwalk, there
are a pier jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean packed with
great rides and more. Early bird season starts before Easter Holiday
and is a great time to get 2-for-1 tickets to the rides. |

One of the great family highlights in
Point Pleasant in addition to the terrific beach is Jenkinson's
Aquarium, open all year. They have great rides for kids and teens
(yes, the Himalaya exists), arcades and
of course, one of the remaining carousels. Most important, they have
may favorite place, Kohr's frozen Custard.

At the Northern end of the Point
Boardwalk are Martell's Tiki Bar and Jenkinson's Nightclub and the
Aquarium. The northern end of the boardwalk takes you the Manasquan
Inlet. YOu can just sit there and watch the fishing boats and pleasure
craft coming and going.

There is also weekly ride specials from
Memorial Day through
Labor Day. Every Tuesday from Noon - 6pm with Wristband Day and every
Friday from 5- 11pm there is Wristband Night. Ride all the rides for
just $15 per person.
