Dogs
are not allowed on the Asbury Park Boardwalk or
Beach.
Dogs
are permitted on the 8th Ave "Dog Beach".
NOTE HOURS are usually after 6:00 pm to 9:00 am.
We get a good group in nice weather. And in Asbury
Park, the dogs are as unique as are the people.
Use
common sense and pick up after your dog.
Dogs
must be leashed, even good ones. Even yours.
Dogs may run free on Dog Beach. Just get your dog
used to the other dogs - and owners. Not all dogs or
dog owners are sociable.
One of the great old boardwalk
gift shop trinkets was the
"Invisible Dog". Invisible
dogs are great. They're cheaper, are always clean,
you can change the breed by the minute.....enjoy it.
Buy one for yourself and your mate. Have a neighbor
that hates dogs? Buy them one as well.
But nothing like the real thing.
