I was so excited when my sister gave me this 1964 Asbury Park
Tourist Guide. It was designed to promote the NEW Asbury Park
Boardwalk. Amazingly, 1964 was not that long ago. In less then 16 years,
the NEW boardwalk and City disintegrated. Once again, the effort
is set to promote the NEW NEW Asbury Park.
In it, it promotes the NEW 4th Ave Pavilion - with 3,285 lockers
to accommodate 4,000 bathers. WOW! Built at a cost of $410,00. So
only a few years later, the City forfeits the entire boardwalk for
literally nothing.
I like the front page - SHOP, RELAX, VACATION, LIVE, WORK - in the
NEW Asbury Park.
So the City does not have to spend a ton of money on a creative
agency - simply use this format and cut and past some new pictures.
