I remember the natatorium on the boardwalk between 2nd and 3rd Aves and how we could get a discount if we could get 10 girls at once. My brother Sam had a store in the boardwalk  in the natatorium - general merchandise - french fries, etc. different things in different years  The ice cream and waffle place was next door  The first time I saw vinegar put on French fries was  by the English sailors who were in the hotel (can't remember the name) for rr I remember the screens that were put up on the east side of the boardwalk and the dim lights in case during ww there were any submarines loitering in the ocean.  I remember the baby parades I was in as a subject of the queen.  Also getting dressed up to parade on the boardwalk on Easter Sunday where orchids were given to the best dressed ladies.  Saturday night the visitors in the Berkeley Carteret would be dressed in formal clothes as they walked the boardwalk and when we wore a hat and gloves when we walked the boardwalk.  I graduated A.P. High in June 1932;  that dates me.
